PDC Riders

Jon Dowker AKA (The Duke)

DOB - 05/15/73
Hometown - Peterborough Ontario
I'm a Canadian ex-patriot who chose to live in Athens GA where I can ride BMX flatland year round. I have a love our sport AKA (art form) beyond words. I'm happy to say that my life has been heavily influenced by the culture and most of my close friends I have met through BMX. Currently I get to share my passion with people as my team (thefreestyleconnection.com) promotes BMX along with positive lifestyles with awesome demos at schools, fairs and events around the country. I'm super stoked to be riding a PDC frame called the DUKE! It's everything I wanted in a frame made by one of the most reputable BMX frame builders ever.

I ride like I'm stuck in 2004 just like my bike set up.  I'm not built for this jibby street stuff.  I still like to push myself but now Its more in the way of tech lip tricks and stupid transfer gaps.
My top five riders of all time would be, Taj, Brain Foster, Dave Osato, Dave Freimuth and Van Homan.  Make it six....Morgan Wade.

Grew up outside of Louisa, KY but moved all over as a kid.
I found a love for bmx at 13 when I moved to south central PA with my mom.  My new step brothers had a friend a few miles down the road and they had an amazing driveway setup (Dunn’s) and that’s where I learned my basics.  I got the feeling for ramps after a few sessions there and then I started riding everything (street, dirt, park, flat, etc.) and I still riding everything to this day!   Watching other riders learn new tricks and feeling that stoke is what keeps me smiling and shredding to this day 10 years later.
